In 2010, Curt Ingram formed Ingram Insurance Company. Due to the involvement of his grandfather, Curt and the Ingram family have been involved in the insurance business of South Central Kentucky for many years. With that heritage, but only a handful of customers, Curt formed his own independent insurance agency to meet the needs of the region.
Having a technical background himself, Curt was able to handle the IT needs of his small agency. But as his business grew, an increasing amount of his time was spent dealing with the IT issues of his small staff. Though manageable, those tasks took Curt away from his most important work: meeting the needs of his clients.
Through their common membership in BNI (Business Network International), Curt asked Allen Riley of ABR to explore ways to improve his agency’s handling of e-mails and other forms of client communications. Curt was having outstanding success reaching the younger generation through social media and his premium ranking on search engines. However, that also meant his customers were primarily using on-line methods of communication. Curt’s staff was overwhelmed by the large number of requests via e-mail, text message, Facebook message, and other on-line methods. ABR offered and implemented a Hosted Exchange solution to consolidate those communications into one system all staff members could access.
When Ingram Insurance outgrew their offices and relocated, they again called on ABR to professionally equip their new offices. A secure infrastructure was designed for the business, keeping client information secure from digital intruders. Data was made readily available to service customers, while protecting the integrity of the information.
Today, Ingram Insurance relies on ABR Systems Group to support their day-to-day operations. ABR is responsible for:
- New workstation set-up and administration
- Equipment upgrades and troubleshooting
- IT troubleshooting phone support
- IT troubleshooting in-person support
- IT network design and build
- Email management
- Network security implementation (Firewall)
